“” የኦሮሚያ ክልል በፊንፊኔ/አዲስ አበባ ላይ ያለውን ሕገ-መንግስታዊ ልዩ ጥቅምን አስመልክቶ የተጻፈ” ( Concept-Paper-for-Special-Interest-Over-Finfinne ) የሚል አንድ ሰነድ እና አዲስ አበባ ላይ የ”ኦሮሞዎች” መብትን እንዲያስጠበቅ ተብሎ፣ በዉጭ ባሉ የኦሮሞ ፈርስት አቀንቃኞች እንደተዘጋጀ በሚነገርለትና የኦህዴድ ከፍተኛ አመራር አባላትም ሕግ እንዲሆን በፌዴራል መንግስት አቅርበዉታል በተባለው በፊንፊኔ/አዲስ አበባ ረቂቅ አዋጁ ዙሪያ ከፍተኛ የሆነ ተቃዉሞና ውግዘት፣ በተለይም በሶሻል ሜዲያው ተሰተናግዷል። ከዚህም የተነሳ ፣ የፌዴራል መንግሥት ቃል አቀባይ ነገሪ ሌንጮ “እኛ የምናውቀው ሰነድ አይደለም” በሚል ማስተባበያ እስከመስጠት ደርሰዋል።
ከ120 አመታት በፊት አሁን አዲስ አበባ በምትባለውና በሸዋ፣ በአብዛኛው ነዋሪዎች ነበሩ። ያንን የሚከራከር ይኖራል ብዬ አላስብም። ከሶስት፣ አራት መቶ አመታት በፊት በዚያ ቦታ ኦሮሞዎች አልነበሩም። ከደቡብ መጥተው ነው ሸዋን ወረው የያዙት። ወደ ታሪክ ከሄድን ታሪክን ነጥለንና የፈለግነው ብቻ መዘን ብቻ ሳይሆን ማየት ያለብን ሁሉንም ነው። ከ100 አመታት በፊት እነርሱ ይኖሩበት ስለነበረ፣ ከ400 አመታት በፊት ይኖሩበት ያልነበረንና ወረው የያዙትን መሬት፣ የኛ መሬት ነው ብለው መከራከሩ የትም አያስኬድም። መታየት ያለበት አሁን በሜዳ ላይ ያለውን ሁኔታ ነው። የድሮ ቁስል ከተነሳ ፣ የድሮ በደል ከተነሳ ተበደልኩ ባዩም እርሱም በሌላ ወቅት በዳይ እንደነበረም መርሳት የለበትም። የሚበጀው የዜሮ ድምር የኋላ ቀር አስተሳሰብ ሳይሆን፣ የሚያቀራረብ፣ የሚያያይዝ፣ ለሁሉም የሚበጅ አስተሳሰብና አሰራር ነው። “ይሄ መሬት የኔ፣ ያንተ አይደለም፣ ይሄ የኦሮሞና ያ የትግሬ ነው …” ከማለት፣ “ሁላችንም እስከኖርንበት ድረስ፣ የሁላችንም ነው” በሚል የጋራ ቤታችን በጋራ፣ በአንድነትና በፍቅር ለመገንባት መነሳት ነው።
እስቲ አሁን በሜዳ ላይ ያለው ሁኔታ ምን ይመስላል ? ብለን እንጠይቅ።፡ ለዚህ ጥያቄ መልስ ለመስጠት ይፋዊ የሆኑ የሕዝብ ቆጠራ ሪፖርቶችን እንመለከታለን። በ1994 የህዝብ ቆጠራ ሪፖርት መሰረት በኦሮሚያ የሸዋ ዞኖች ውስጥ 16 ከተሞች ከ10 ሺህ በላይ የህዝብ ብዛት ነበራቸው። ከነዚህ 16 ከተሞች በ13ቱ አፋን ኦሮሞ የማይናገሩ ከስድሳ በመቶ በላይ ነበሩ።
ከ2007 የሕዝብ ቆጠራ፣ በነዚህ ከተሞች ምን ያህሉ አፋን ኦሮሞ እንደሚናገር ለማወቅ አልቻልኩም። ሆኖም ከ1994 ይለያል ብዬ አላስብም። በ2007 የሕዝብ ቆጠራ ውጤት መሰረት አዲስ አበባን ጨምሮ በሸዋ 41% የሚሆነው ነዋሪ አፋን ኦሮሞ የማይናገር ሲሆን፣ በአዳማ ፣ አፋን ኦሮሞ የማይናገር 74%፣ በምስራቅ ሸዋ ዞን 30% ናቸው። አዲስ አበባ፣ አዳማ፣ እና ምስራቅ ሸዋ ዞን ስንጠቀልላቸው ደግሞ 70% የሚሆነው ህዝብ ገጠር ያለውን ገበሬዉን ጨመሮ አፋን ኦሮሞ ተናጋሪ አይደለም።
እንግዲህ ለዚህ ነው “መሬቱ የኦሮሞ ነው” በሚል ጠባብና የኋላ ቀር አስተሳሰብ ፣ አፋን ኦሮሞ ብች የስራ ቋንቋ ሆኖ፣ ሌላው አገሩ እንዳልሆነ ተደርጎ እንዲታየ የሚደረገበት አሰራር መቆም አለበት የምንለው። 70%፣ 60% …. አፋን ኦሮሞ የማይናገሩ ዜጎች የሚኖሩባቸው ቦታዎች እንዴት ሆኖ ነው የኦሮሞው ብቻ የሚሆኑት ? አዲስ አበባ 90% አማርኛ ተናጋሪ እየኖረባት እንዴት ነው የኦሮሞ ብቻ የምትሆነው ? ከ13 በላይ የኦሮሚያ የሸዋ ትላልቅ ከተሞች ከስድሳት በመቶ በላይ አማርኛ ተናጋሪዎች እየኖርባቸው እንዴት ነው የኦሮሞ ብቻ የሚሆኑት?
መፍቴው ቀላል ነው። ከዚህ በታች የምትመለከቱት ሰንጠረዥ እንደሚያሳየው፣ ሸዋ በተለይም አማርኛ ተናጋሪዎችና ኦሮምኛ ተናጋሪዎች በጋራ የሚኖሩባት አካባቢ ናት። አንዱ ሌላውን እየገፋ፣ አንዱ ሌላውን እያስፈራራ፣ አንዱ ሌላው ላይ እየዛተ መቀጠል አይቻልም። ኦሮሚያ የሚባለው ነገር ሌላውን ማህበረሰብ አይወክልም። በመሆኑም ሁሉንም የሚወክል፣ ታሪካዊ ስሙን የያዘ ፣ አማርኛና አፋን ኦሮሞ የሥራ ቋንቋ የሆኑበት የሸዋ ክልል አስፈላጊ ነው።
የአዲስ አበባ፣ የአዳማ፣ በሸዋ የሚኖረው አማርኛ ተናጋሪ ማህበረሰብ፣ እነ አቶ ለማ መገርሳ ሰሞኑን የመዘዙት አይነት በማናቸዉም ጊዜ ሊመዘዝበት፣ ሕልዉናውም አደጋ ውስጥ ሊወድቅ እንደሚችል መርሳት የለበትም።

መፍቴው ቀላል ነው። ከዚህ በታች የምትመለከቱት ሰንጠረሽ እንደሚያሳየው፣ ሸዋ በተለይም አማርኛ ተናጋሪዎችና ኦሮምኛ ተናጋሪዎች በጋራ የሚኖሩባት አካባቢ ናት።፡አንዱ ሌላውን እየገፋ፣ አንዱ ሌላውን እያስፈራራ፣ አንዱ ሌላው ላይ እየዛተ መቀጠል አይቻልም። ኦሮሚያ የሚባለው ነገር ሌላውን ማህበረሰብ አይወክል። በመሆኑኑም ሁሉንም የሚወክል፣ ታሪካዊ ስሙን የያዘ ፣ አማርኛና አፋን ኦሮሞ የሥራ ቋንቋ የሆኑበት የሸዋ ክልል አስፈላጊ ነው።
የአዲስ አበባ፣ የአዳማ፣ በሸዋ የሚኖረው አማርኛ ተናጋሪ ማህበረሰብ፣ እነ አቶ ለማ መገርሳ ሰሞኑን የመዘዙት አይነት በማናቸዉም ጊዜ ሊመዘዝበት፣ ሕልዉናውም አደጋ ውስጥ ሊወድቅ እንደሚችል መርሳት የለበትም።
Girma Kassa is in the state of desperation and hopelessness because the hegemony of his forefathers will never come back again in Oromia. Therefore, he try to come up with his last strategic trials the so called establishing a new regional state including Finfinne. By doing this he try to maintain the supremacy of the Amahara nation and it’s language and culture in Oromia.
The preachers of Anti-Oromo including Girma Kassa give all the rights under the sun to the settlers in Oromia. But they try to dispossess the Oromo nation even the basic human rights. According to thier assertions the Oromo deserve nothing in their homeland. They advise the Oromo nation to accept their fake unity and equality. This is ridiculous and a futile attempt. These individuals have not still realize why the Oromo have been fighting and resisting the policies of the Woyane in the last 26 years. Whether the hardliners like Girma Kassa accept it or not the territorial integrity of Oromia will be untouchable. They should have to understand this tangible reality. Besides that they have to know the aspirations and the demands of the Oromo nation. It will attain it’s goals by any means.
Girma Kassa hates everything of Oromo like his brother in missions the the so called Girma Seifu who hates the Oromo nation from the bottom of his heart. They have been suffering under their own nightmare of Oromophobia. No on could help them. All the trials of the hatemongers will not keep the Oromo nation even for a minute from fighting for it’s aspirations and demands as a grear nation of East Africa.
The demands of the Oromo nation are about fairness, equality, democratic rights, human dignity and respect. It is against no one, as long as he or she respect the basic rights of the Oromo nation. It is against the repressive systems and undemocratic hardliners. It is against the policies of discrimination, subjugation, uprooting from homeland and latent segregation. The Oromo nation have been fighting to get it’s right place in the Ethiopia political, social, cultural and economic community.
Some hardliners like Girma Seifu speak about a fake equality and unity while they have been promoting the principles of discrimination and racism, let alone about human dignity. He told us last time in one of his statements that he doesn’t want to see the development of the Oromo culture and language in Finfinne. He cannot tolerate it. For persons like him the Oromo are an alien in Finfinne. Besides that he claim that those from coutryside are not capable enough to take a position of leadership in the big cities even if they are highly qualified for the jobs. Ketemenet is for him and for those like him a big deal and a great asset. Ketemenet is as his point of view the main required qualification to take a position of leadership in the cities. Such persons are irrational and primitive.
Girma Seifu is always intolerant about the Oromo nation. He is just one of the hardliners and racists in that country. Because of his hatreds for the Oromo people he pushed away the so called Andinet party from MEDIRAK sometime ago. Afterwards this party itself was disintegrated. That is the fruit of the ignorant hardliners like Girma Seifu. The main problems of the ethiopian politics are such dull and primitive arrogant individuals. Such individuals try speak about equality without any shame. They are just the dull Debteraists and the primitive thinkers.
According to this person we can not be equal even theoretically, let alone practically. The Katames like Girma Seifu are the best human being. But the Oromo and those from countryside are not relevant enough to be treated as a human being and even their academic background has no place in their mind.
Girma Kasse also try to threat the whole Oromo nation by telling us that he will take the ultimative measures if his demands will not be accepted by the ruling classes of the Oromo and the rest of the Oromo nation. It is good for him and I can understand him. But I have the following questions for him: First, does he has the might wishes or the mighty military power in oder to fight and crush down the whole Oromo nation? Second, what about the truly lost territories like Walikite and the borders to Suda? Third, what about the other nations over which his forefathers are masters?
Fighting with the keyboard is as simple as drinking a cup of tea. But the other sides of the cone are unthinkable for those who try to do the new things again again as that of the old times like our forefathers.
We have to fight togother such backward and very primitive mentalities if we want to save Ethiopia from disintegration. The Oromo nation has been rising the very brilliant and visionary academicians in the countryside of Oromia who will lead Oromia and the rest of Ethiopia in the brightest future. Watch out, the time is coming.
Finally, I have no personal problem with individuals like Girma Seifu and Girma Kassa. What is disturbing me is the way they approach the Ethiopian politics. They try to nullify the subjugation and discrimination of the Oromo nation and it’s language, cultural and social values under the successive Ethiopian regimes. They beat mostly the drums of Anti-Oromo by labeling the ethnic based demands of the Oromo nation as anti-unity. Besides that they have been defaming the ethnic based politics of Ethiopia. Those who try to label the ethic based politics as anti-unity are pro supremacy of the Amahara nation and it’s culture and language. Such thinking will take us no where. It was outdated and expired. No one is better than the other. We have to work for true unity and equality so that our peoples will live together harmoniously with respect and peace.
